LARCA - Relational Algorithmics, Complexity and Learning Laboratory

The Relational Algorithmics, Complexity and Learning Laboratory (LARCA) is formed by members of the Department of Computer Science.

Their goal is to develop practical solutions from sound principles, using modelling tools and techniques from algorithmics, computational complexity, automata theory, logic, discrete mathematics, statistics, and dynamic systems. Principles lines of research are:

  • Data mining and machine learning
  • Massive data analysis with emphasis on data streams
  • Analysis of structured data
  • Mathematical linguistics
