The group of Numerical Optimization and Modelling Group (GNOM) is formed by members of the Department of Statistics and Operative Research and the Department of Mathematics. It has been recognized as a Consolidated Research Group of the Government of Catalonia.
The group is working principally in numerical optimization methods and mathematical programing modelling of any problem that can be solved through optimization, with a special interest in energy and statistical data protection and supply chain.
